The themes of our current projects are:

  • Unsupervised deep learning
  • Facial expression analysis and synthesis
  • Object detection and tracking in video
  • Machine vision applications in the industry

Funded projects:

  • Pantograph Defect Detection, Işık University Scientific Research Project 12A301, 2012-2014
  • Expression Recognition Based on Facial Anatomy, TUBITAK 109E061,2009-2012
  • Driver Fatigue Recognition using Pattern Recognition Techniques, Işık University Scientific Research Project 07A301, 2007-2009

PILAB team is composed of one faculty, one PhD student and 3 MS students. We are looking for M.Sc. and PhD students to join our team. Scholarships are available.
